Terms and conditions
1. Organiser and entry
This prize draw is organised by Prompt*. It is free to enter. The competition closes on Sunday 21 December 2025 at 20.00 GMT. Applicants can download and use Prompt for free during the trial period.
2. Eligibility
This competition is open to:
- Students aged 12-16 who are using Prompt (with permission from their parent or guardian)
- Parents or guardians of students aged 12-16 who are using Prompt
Videos must feature either:
- A student (aged 12-16) using Prompt, OR
- A parent/guardian of a student (aged 12-16) using Prompt, OR
- Both together
This competition is not open to:
- Adults without children aged 12-16 using Prompt
- Students under 12 or over 16
- Employees of Prompt or its parent company, their immediate families, agents or any third party directly associated with administration of the prize draw
3. Entry requirements
To enter, participants must:
- Download and use Prompt for at least a week
- Create a video (maximum 60 seconds) showing how Prompt fits into their life

- Include basic biographical information (name, age, location)
- Provide consent for Prompt to use submitted content in marketing materials
- Ensure the video features a family with a student aged 12-16 who uses Prompt
4. Entries from minors (under 18)
Entrants under 18 years of age must obtain consent from their parent(s) or legal guardian(s) before entering. The parent(s) or legal guardian(s) of entrants under 18 agree to these Terms and Conditions on behalf of the entrant. Prompt may request proof of parental/guardian consent.
5. Closing date
Entries must be received by Sunday 21 December 2025 at 20.00 GMT. Entries received after the stated closing date will not be accepted.
6. Lost or delayed entries
Prompt will not accept responsibility for entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any postal failure, equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind.

8. Right to refuse entry
Prompt reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award a prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
9. Eligibility confirmation
In entering, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize you may win. Prompt may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the prize draw or competition, including proof that the student is aged 12-16 and uses Prompt.
10. Content rights and usage
By submitting any material to us, you:
- (i) confirm that you have the consent of all people featured in any video to provide it to us, and
- (ii) agree to allow Prompt to use your content in its marketing campaigns, including posting on social media, website, email campaigns and advertising materials
- (iii) grant Prompt a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, modify and distribute your content
- (iv) waive any moral rights you may have in the content
Prompt is not obligated to use all submitted content. Contributors may or may not be credited when content is used.
11. Winner selection
A total of 10 winners will be selected by a committee within Prompt in our absolute discretion, based on video quality, engagement level, authenticity and overall impact.
Top 3 creator prizes: The three best entries will each receive an Apple Watch or £250 in App Store or Amazon vouchers (winner's choice).
7 runner-up prizes: Seven additional entries will each receive a £30 Amazon voucher.
All 10 winners: Will receive free use of the app for one year (worth £39.99).
Winners will be chosen within one month of the closing date (by 21 January 2025).
12. Winner notification
We will notify winners by email using the email address provided in the entry. If a winner does not respond to Prompt within 14 days of being notified, then the winner's prize will be forfeited and Prompt will be entitled to select another winner.
13. Prize details and substitution
Prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered. Prompt reserves the right to replace any prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond our control make it necessary to do so.
Apple Watch winners may choose to receive £250 in App Store or Amazon vouchers instead. This choice must be made within 7 days of winner notification.
Amazon vouchers will be delivered via email. Physical prizes will be shipped to the winner's provided address within the UK. International shipping may incur additional processing time.
14. Final decision
Any decision of Prompt regarding any aspect of the competition is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.

Prompt reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.
17. Limitation of liability
Insofar as is permitted by law, Prompt, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of participating in the competition and/or providing material to us or the publication of that material.
18. Privacy and data protection
Prompt is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy and will only use your personal information in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and our privacy policy (available at www.thepromptapp.com/privacy-policy).
19. Use of personal information
By entering, you agree that any personal information provided by you with your entry may be held and used by Prompt or its agents and suppliers to administer the competition and for marketing purposes (if you have opted in to receive marketing communications).
20. Governing law
This competition is governed by English law and entrants submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
21. Amendment of terms
Prompt reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions from time to time and any updated version will be effective as soon as it is published on the website at thepromptapp.com/ambassador-terms.
